General Service Information
- Recology Auburn Placer recommends that refuse be at curbside the night before your collection day.
- Refuse must be at curbside by 5:00 a.m. on your collection day.
- We are not responsible for goods or articles in or near a refuse container.
- If missed service is the fault of our service person, please contact us within 48 hours of your missed pick-up.
- If you forget to set your trash out, there will be a special pick-up charge if you contact us for a special collection.
- Temporary stops during vacation or other periods of non-occupancy may be requested one time per calendar year. Please contact us in advance of the requested stop period.
- To transfer or to vacate premises, contact us so that your account can be closed.
- Do not dispose of liquids in the trash.
Residents of Auburn, Town of Loomis, and Unincorporated Placer County
90 gallon toters will be provided by Recology Auburn Placer free of charge. The toters are Recology Auburn Placer property. Should the toter be damaged by you, a replacement fee will be charged to your account.
If you provide your own garbage cans, they must be no larger than 30-33 gallons, weigh no more than 50 pounds when full and have handles and tight fitting lids.
